Who Are We
We are Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) at the University of Southern California. IEEE is the world’s largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through IEEE’s highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities.
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) at USC aims to connect students with Electrical Engineering / Computer Science related careers. General meetings allow students to network with industry representatives, as well as USC faculty and staff. Additionally, membership provides a subscription to the monthly IEEE Spectrum magazine, with articles detailing the various facets of engineering and the problems we face today. IEEE National also provides scholarship opportunities and valuable career and employment resources to its members.
